Captain Michael Daddario

Captain Michael Daddario began his career in the NYPD Police Academy in 1984. He came to us from the NYC Housing Police Department in Oct. of 1989, where he had worked for 5 years patrolling the neighborhoods of the Bronx.

He has served the Bal Harbour Police Department in a number of capacities including: Bicycle patrol, Field Training Officer, Jet Ski patrol, Off Duty Coordinator and most notably as the Dade County Police Benevolent Association’s Bal Harbour representative. He served in that role for 15 years and represented the officers in numerous labor negotiations.

He was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in 2006 and supervised a patrol squad.

In 2008, Captain Daddario successfully completed the 400 hr. Command Officers Development Course from the Southern Police Institute, Department of Justice Administration, University of Louisville.

In 2009, he was promoted to Captain and put in charge of the Administrative division. His duties include training and hurricane coordination as well as records management.
