Marine Patrol

Bal Harbour Police Department prides itself on being at the forefront of law enforcement. Our geography is unique in that we are in essence a peninsula at the north end of a barrier island. Our northern border connects to another barrier island via the Baker's Haulover bridge, spanning the Baker's Haulover inlet. This inlet provides the only ocean access to Biscayne Bay from the Atlantic ocean and is often used to smuggle contraband and migrants.

Our officer's patrol, the streets, the beach, and the Intracoastal Waterway, using an array of cutting-edge tools and vehicles keeping BHPD ahead of those conducting illicit activies in our area.
